Future plans include performances with Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra. In the 2026/27 season, Pagano embarks on an extensive recital tour throughout Korea, Japan and Europe.
Pagano collaborates with conductors including Dmitri Jurowski, Michele Mariotti, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Kazuki Yamada, Lorenzo Viotti, Juraj Valčuha, Andrew Manze, Pietari Inkinen, Alevtina Ioffe, Thomas Guggeis, Lu-Jia and Han-Na Chang.
In 2025, Pagano was the winner of the prestigious Abbiati Prize awarded by the Italian Music Critics and the “Classeek Award” at the ICMA (International Classical Music Awards). Since 2013, Pagano has been awarded prizes in over 40 national and international competitions including first prize at the 18th Khachaturian International Competition (2022) and second prize, as well as two special jury prizes, at the Enescu International Competition (2024).
A graduate of the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome with honors and honorable mention, Pagano subsequently obtained the Artist Diploma at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona under Antonio Meneses. He also attended the Pavia Cello Academy with Enrico Dindo and the Accademia Chigiana under David Geringas. Pagano is currently studying with Jens Peter Maintz at the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
Pagano performs on the 1733 “Casals” cello by Matteo Goffriller, generously loaned from the Fundació Pau Casals. He also performs on a cello by Ongaro brothers (Venice 1777), entrusted to him by the foundation "Adopt a Musician".
